This beautiful, heirloom quality sand tray is a must have in any Montessori inspired learning environment. It's simple but it can be used for many activities: practicing writing skills, tracing numbers and shapes, matching objects to the flash cards, etc.

Sand trays are also perfect with rice and other grains as well as play dough.

This sand tray is handmade in Turkey from linden wood in the traditional way.

This set includes a sand tray with flashcard holder (slot) and stylus holder (slot), a wooden stylus and a wooden 'smoother'. No sand or flashcards included.

Size: the sand tray is 22 x 17 cm, the stylus is 11 cm long and 1,5 cm in diameter, the 'smoother' is 10,5 x 3 cm.

Made from 100% solid linden wood, treated with natural organic oil. Complies with EN 71 and CE standards for child safety.
