Rub the paint sticks directly over the painting ground on the rubbing block; brush out any paint powder residues with the brush; smudge with your fingers and work in well; for high smudge resistance, additionally polish with a cotton wool pad or similar: the very delicate to intensive coloured areas become as smudge-proof as coloured pencil pictures! For contours use sticks like colour pencils or draw with an eraser; moist cosmetic tissues (drugstore) are suitable to clean the fingers in between.
